Campaigns in North Africa-In simple terms, both the British and American campaigns in North Africa during World War II were like checking the tides because they involved closely monitoring and responding to the changing circumstances of the war. Just as one would check the tides to navigate safely, these campaigns required constant assessment of enemy movements, supplies, and strategic positions to make informed decisions and adjust tactics accordingly.
